DFL Coating is a moly-based lubricant capable of providing lubrication at levels as high as 350,000 psi. It aides in preventing scuffing and galling, resulting in increased part life. It reduces friction, allowing for more usable power. In addition to lubrication, Dry-Film Lubricant also helps distribute heat so there is less metal fatigue reducing the chance of part failure. K-Line® DFL Performance Coated Guide-Liners® resist corrosion of diesel and race fuels while providing excellent wear resistance. Any engine application that needs lubrication in dry, high speed, or extreme use environments would benefit from DFL Coated Guide-Liners.

Coated vs. Uncoated
Frictional drag leads to inefficiency in the combustion chamber slowing the engine down. However, independent testing proves that engine efficiency is increased when using internal engine parts coated with a Dry-Film Lubricant.
