The Extension Arms are designed to be used with any of the primary stands to increase the range. Remove the cradle from the stand, install the extension arms, install the pin to lock the extension in place, then reinstall the cradle on to the extensions.
WARNING: Never use more than one set of extensions per stand. This would create a very unstable & dangerous situation.
